Job summary

Farmers is seeking a Beauty Advisor for Elizabeth Arden at Bayfair. This fixed-term, part-time role supports parental leave coverage and follows a set roster across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday shifts.

You will showcase makeup artistry, diagnose skincare needs, build a loyal client base and drive sales for a prestige brand within a department store setting.

Elizabeth Arden's fundamental belief was that beauty should not be a veneer of makeup, but an intelligent cooperation between science and nature in order to develop a woman's finest natural assets. She lived by her mantra, "To be beautiful is the birthright of every woman."\

This is a fixed-term part-time position, covering parental leave until October 2027. The successful candidate will work the following roster:

• Monday: 8:45am - 5:45pm


• Tuesday:11am - 6:15pm


• Thursday: 5:15pm - 9:15pm


• Sunday: 8:45am - 6:15pm

The Role:

Working with this prestigious Brand as a Beauty Advisor is an opportunity for you to showcase your talents, from makeup application to diagnosing skincare concerns, this role offers it all and you can positively impact your customers and spread joy, who wouldn't want to do that on a daily basis?! This role is varied and will require you to:

• Create and build a clientele where you will be their trusted Advisor.


• Collaborate with the Counter Manager, Beauty Sales Manager and Brand Manager to grow your business and reach your full potential.


• Be confident in applying products, recommending products and closing the sale.


• Share your passion for the Brand and all their exciting offerings.

About You:

We are seeking a Beauty Advisor to join our team who has:

• Experience working in a retail or hospitality environment and achieving sales targets.


• A passion for all things Beauty, and helping our customers feel great about themselves.


• Strong communication skills, enabling you to approach customers in-store & via telephone in a confident friendly manner to determine how to provide a rewarding customer experience.


• Strong technical competency in makeup artistry, a certificate or diploma in makeup artistry would be in advantage.
