Job summary

JobSpace in Invercargill is seeking a full-time delivery driver to pick up and deliver packages promptly and safely, loading and unloading as required, while keeping vehicles clean and well-maintained. You will plan efficient routes, liaise with dispatchers and customers to provide timely updates, handle delivery paperwork on the mobile app, and demonstrate excellent customer service.

Early mornings and weekends may be required, with a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• Valid Full Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly.
• Willing to work early mornings, weekends, and extended hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages in a timely, safe manner.
• Load and unload items with care.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes.
• Liaise with dispatchers and customers to provide timely updates on deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Handle delivery paperwork and updates via mobile app.
• Carry out pre-vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
