Job summary

Teknique, a subsidiary of Resideo, invites applications for its 10-week Summer intern program in Auckland. We offer hands-on experience in software, electrical, computer vision, AI and ML within a dynamic, global-tech environment.

Based in Albany, Auckland, you will join a high-performing team with extra perks, including snacks, coffee, and weekly social events, while exploring edge AI for home safety and security.

Qualifications

• Be studying or have recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at NZQA level 6-10.
• Study in science, technology, engineering, design or business at a NZ tertiary education institute.
• Have not previously been employed at the business in a full-time or part-time permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge, edge-based video AI models for home safety and security.
• Train AI models and produce proof-of-concept products for future R&D.
• Develop proof-of-concept solar/battery camera models for deployment where power is unavailable.
