Job summary

Busy Bees Aotearoa is seeking a Registered Teacher in Hawke's Bay to lead early learning experiences for tamariki, aligning to Te Whāriki and collaborating with a supportive team. This fixed-term role runs until February 2027, with pathways for growth within the national network.

You’ll contribute to a caring centre culture, document learning with families, and ensure a safe, joyful environment for young learners.

Qualifications

• Recognised NZ ECE or Primary teaching qualification with current NZ registration.
• Warm communication style and ability to build strong relationships.
• Proactive with integrity, fair and ethical
• Passion for NZ national curriculum and sharing ideas
• Confidence using digital tools to document learning and stay connected with families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and guide the educational journey of each child drawing on Te Whāriki.
• Capture and share high-quality assessments to celebrate progress.
• Create a supportive, equitable atmosphere with a sense of belonging.
• Collaborate to build positive relationships across the team.
• Maintain a safe, beautiful environment prioritising child wellbeing.
