Bring your heart and your craft. This is the place to pour your energy into meaningful teaching.
We are looking for a registered kaiako to join our team at Busy Bees Taupō! Join us to nurture curiosity, build strong relationships, and create meaningful learning experiences that set our tamariki up for lifelong success.
About us:
Busy Bees Taupō is a warm centre where every child is a taonga and every whānau is welcome. You’ll find home‑cooked kai, a sunny backyard for play, and well‑resourced rooms for each stage. Our kaiako know our families and turn everyday moments into rich learning. We love tuakana‑teina time where older and younger tamariki learn together. Partnership with parents is our anchor, and inclusion is our promise: every culture is seen and valued. As part of Busy Bees Aotearoa, you’ll be backed to grow and thrive.
About you:
You’re a caring kaiako with NZ teacher registration (ECE or primary) and a strong grasp of Te Whāriki i. You plan, assess, and review confidently, creating engaging environments and sparking curiosity. Warm communication helps you build responsive relationships with tamariki, whānau, and your team, and you keep supervision tight. You value bicultural practice, weave simple te reo Māori into everyday moments, and champion inclusion. Reflective and growth‑minded, you use evidence to lift outcomes; strengths in behaviour guidance, additional needs, or mentoring are a bonus.
Why you’ll love working here:
We welcome experienced and emerging kaiako. Apply with your CV and CL today! Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid work visa.
