Job summary

Harvey Norman Lower Hutt is seeking a warehouse team member for a 4-month fixed-term, full-time position. You will assist with stock movement, customer queries, receiving and storage, and general warehouse duties under supervision from our national and regional teams.

Key tasks include stock handling, loading/unloading, inventory checks and ensuring health and safety practices. Basic computer skills and a valid NZ driver’s licence are desirable in a physically demanding role.

Qualifications

• Physically able to assist with manual handling.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.
• Understanding of Health and Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Customer service or warehouse experience is desirable.
• Current, full NZ Drivers Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform all receiving, storage, delivery and paperwork procedures in a timely manner.
• Provide high levels of service to customers, including handling pickups and phone queries.
• Assist with stock movements, including driving the shuttle truck as required.
• Unload trucks and load goods into customer vehicles when practical.
• Maintain safe work practices and compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
• Assist with stocktake preparation and execution as needed.
