Highlands Intermediate in New Plymouth is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our team. Start date is 27 January 2027 at our warm, inclusive kura where learners are encouraged to aim high and take responsibility.

We are looking for a certificated teacher who can build strong relationships with tamariki and whānau, work collaboratively, and deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences for Years 1–8.

Qualifications

• Certificated teacher required.
• Experience teaching primary/intermediate (Years 1–8) desirable.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with tamariki and whānau.
• Ability to collaborate in a strong team culture.
