Job summary

The Recruitment Network is seeking experienced Catering Chefs to join a busy Christchurch team on a casual basis, with the flexibility to work 4–5 days per week and up to 60 hours during peak periods.

You’ll prepare food for weddings, corporate events, private dining and functions, handle bulk production, and adapt to varied menus and locations. Summer travel opportunities may arise when work is available.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial or catering chef experience.
• Experience working with larger volumes of food.
• Reliable and flexible availability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Casual Catering Chef Christchurch

This is a casual role with the flexibility to work 4–5 days per week, with the opportunity to pick up up to 60 hours per week during busy periods.

There may also be opportunities to travel for catering work during the summer, giving you the chance to work in different locations when you are available.
