Job summary

DKW Recruitment Group is sourcing a trade qualified Carpenter for immediate on-site work in Otago. You will bring commercial or residential construction experience, read and interpret plans and drawings, and apply strong framing, formwork and finishing skills on varied projects.

We value reliability, physical fitness and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Own basic tools is preferred; Site Safe accreditation is advantageous and a valid transport option is expected.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Carpenter or equivalent.
• Proven commercial and/or residential construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Strong framing, formwork and finishing skills.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety.
• Reliable, hardworking and physically fit.
• Own basic tools preferred.
• Site Safe preferred.
• Reliable transport.
