Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical) or related science.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer or in a related role.
- Solid understanding of drilling fluid chemistry, rheology and solid control.
- Experience with water-based, oil-based and synthetic-based drilling fluids.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement drilling fluid programs for well plans and geology.
- Monitor fluid properties on site and remotely, adjust formulations for performance.
- Provide technical support and recommendations on fluid management.
- Ensure drilling fluid operations meet safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory and logistics for drilling fluid additives and equipment.
- Conduct performance analysis and recommend improvements.
