Alpine Civil is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced and committed Drainage Foreman to lead site crews, deliver high-quality drainage works, and uphold the strong values that make us proud of what we deliver.

This is a site leadership role for someone who knows civil drainage inside out. If you lead by example, keep projects on track and are committed to delivering work to a high standard, we would like to hear from you.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise drainage teams across a range of 3-waters (potable-water, wastewater and stormwater) construction projects
  • Perform hands‑on drainlaying and installation work in a range of pipe materials and pipe fittings including polyethylene, PVC, GRP, ductile iron and stainless steel to a high-quality standard
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety, quality, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate daily tasks, materials, and equipment to be efficent and effective in undertaking the project on site
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and the public, to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and day‑to‑day support to junior team members
  • Maintain efficient workflow, productivity, and a strong standard of workmanship on site
What you will bring to the team
  • A Level 4 Water Retic & Certified Drainlayer or currently working towards certification
  • Minimum 5 years civil drain laying experience
  • Experience with trenching, shoring, and shield systems
  • Proven ability to lead and support a team
  • A strong understanding of civil construction standards and site safety
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and levels
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and hands‑on approach
  • A HDPE welding ticket, WTR endorsement and Class 2–4 driver license would be advantageous.
