The Digital Engineer role will be responsible for civil infrastructure projects across the airport, ensuring that BIM models, spatial data, and asset information are produced to the required standards throughout the project lifecycle. You will be leading the continual development of accurate and reliable records of civil infrastructure, to ensure information about critical built assets is readily available and trustworthy, to enable the business to make informed decisions.
The role will manage reality capture programmes for civil assets, including the planning, coordination, and processing of scan and photogrammetry data. Also closely collaborating with the GIS team ensuring consistency of data between BIM and GIS systems. You will report to the Spatial Information Manager to implement digital delivery frameworks and support the handover of accurate building asset data into operational systems, including a campus wide BIM model and GIS database.
