Job summary

Crimson Global Academy seeks an experienced DP-level leader to steward attendance, student support and learning services within our online school. You will chair the weekly Student Support process, manage intervention tiers, and report to the Principal on portfolio progress.

The role centers on data-driven governance, interagency collaboration, and ensuring equitable access for all learners, with a teaching component and cross-team leadership.

Qualifications

• Registered teacher with full practising certificate and proven leadership in pastoral care, learning support or student services.
• Data-confident: translates attendance and engagement into actions and board reports.
• Calm and warm with young people and whānau in difficult moments, firm on process.
• Experienced with outside agencies and cross-team collaboration.
• Committed to equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in learner support.

Responsibilities

• Lead attendance and engagement strategy, dashboards and Board reporting.
• Oversee Student Support meetings and individual plans, escalation of non-attenders.
• Oversee SENCO, ESOL, IEPs, ORS and learning assistant timetables.
• Coordinate interagency work with Oranga Tamariki, health services and youth services.
• Lead enrichment, access, and responsible for behaviour policies and data.
• Report termly on attendance, engagement and learning support.
