Job summary

Lumino Greymouth Dental on the West Coast seeks a reliable Dental Assistant to join our full-time team. You will support clinicians, prepare rooms and instruments, and help ensure a high standard of care and patient experience during visits.

Join a welcoming, community-focused practice with ongoing training, EAP, and staff discounts. Regular hours Monday–Thursday 8:15am–5:00pm, Friday 8:15am–4:00pm, with a positive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Dental Assistant experience preferred, although training can be provided for the right person.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transport and the ability to commute to the practice.
• Valid New Zealand working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointments.
• Maintain infection control and sterilisation standards.
• Support patient flow and help create a positive patient experience.
• Manage clinical stock and equipment as required.
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team.
