About the Role

As Delivery Support Office Lead, you will play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of projects across the Te Manawa Taki Region. This position ensures effective governance, financial oversight, and performance management for projects aligned with Health NZ's strategic goals and Pae Ora vision.

You’ll provide functional leadership to project staff, oversee project assurance processes, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders. Your work will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of compliance and quality.

About the Team/Service/ Location

The IIG team are focused on delivering high impact infrastructure investments that support the transformation of New Zealand’s health system.

Giving support, oversight and assurance across projects and programmes, the team understand that safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment are essential for a well-functioning health system that improves the health of all New Zealanders.

You will bring
  • A relevant graduate qualification in business, project management, quantity surveying or similar discipline.
  • Extensive experience in project governance, budget management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls, risk management, and compliance.
  • Ability to demonstrate obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Pae Ora principles.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
