Job summary
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is seeking a Ways of Working Delivery Coach to strengthen delivery practices across Te Aukaha | Digital. You will help teams plan, prioritise, and improve performance, embedding a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
You will coach, mentor and facilitate teams and leaders, guiding the right approach for each context and improving delivery visibility with metrics and Jira.
Qualifications
- Experience coaching Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery.
- Advanced coaching, facilitation and mentoring skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
- Experience improving delivery culture and capability.
- Strong knowledge of delivery planning, metrics and reporting.
- Proven Jira experience, including workflows, boards and dashboards.
- Experience supporting and embedding change.
Responsibilities
- Coach teams on planning, prioritisation, capacity and delivery flow
- Support Big Room Planning and continuous planning practices
- Improve delivery visibility through metrics, dashboards and Jira
- Facilitate planning and capability-building sessions
- Develop practical standards, playbooks and training resources
- Lead and support delivery Communities of Practice
- Help embed sustainable improvements across Digital.
