Job summary

Jora New Zealand in Auckland is seeking an engineer to join a data centre operating 24/7. The role focuses on maintaining HVAC, cooling, power and building systems, and requires strong fault-finding abilities in mechanical and electrical disciplines.

You'll monitor BMS/EPMS, respond to alarms, coordinate contractors and maintain records, while contributing to safe, reliable operation and on-call duties within a rotating 12-hour roster. NZ citizenship preferred for security.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining critical infrastructure in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC, cooling, power and building systems.
• Monitor BMS/EPMS and respond to alarms and faults.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support incident response.
• Coordinate contractors and maintain engineering records.
• Help ensure the facility operates safely and reliably 24/7.
