You'll collaborate with creative and account teams to turn briefs into high-quality visuals, from concept through to delivery, while upholding brand standards and production timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Multimedia Design or related field.
  • Proven experience creating multimedia content for multiple clients.
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Excellent visual storytelling with strong attention to detail.

Job description

Fern Wave Media Limited is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Multimedia Designer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging multimedia content for a range of client projects. This includes video production, motion graphics, photography, digital graphics, social media content, and other visual materials.

You will work closely with our creative and account management teams to transform client requirements and brand concepts into effective, high-quality multimedia content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualise, design, and produce multimedia content, including promotional videos, motion graphics, infographics, photography, digital advertisements, and social media assets.
  • Film and edit promotional videos, short-form content, interviews, tutorials, and other client-facing video materials.
  • Create visual content tailored to different digital platforms, including websites, social media, online advertising, and mobile applications.
  • Work with the creative and account management teams to understand client briefs, target audiences, brand requirements, and project objectives.
  • Develop creative concepts, storyboards, visual layouts, and production plans for multimedia projects.
  • Carry out video production tasks, including camera operation, lighting, sound recording, editing, colour correction, audio editing, and post-production.
  • Produce motion graphics, animations, visual effects, and branded graphic elements for client campaigns.
  • Maintain consistent visual identity and brand standards across all multimedia materials.
  • Review and revise creative work in response to internal reviews and client feedback.
  • Manage multiple client projects and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
  • Organise and maintain digital media libraries, project files, raw footage, design assets, and final deliverables.
  • Apply appropriate file management, naming, version control, backup, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Check completed content for visual quality, technical accuracy, platform compatibility, and brand consistency.
  • Research current multimedia design techniques, social media formats, creative technologies, and digital content trends.
  • Recommend practical improvements to the company's multimedia production processes and creative standards.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional experience in multimedia design, digital design, video production, motion graphics, or a related creative role.
  • Proven ability to create multimedia content for different clients, brands, or commercial projects.
  • Practical experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong video production and post-production skills, including filming, lighting, sound recording, editing, colour correction, and audio editing.
  • Experience creating content for websites, social media platforms, and digital advertising campaigns.
  • A good understanding of visual composition, typography, colour, branding, storytelling, and digital content formats.
  • Ability to interpret client briefs and turn ideas into clear and engaging visual content.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good communication, collaboration, time-management, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, respond professionally to feedback, and meet deadlines.
  • A professional portfolio demonstrating relevant multimedia, video, animation, photography, or digital design work is required.

The ideal candidate is creative, technically capable, and comfortable working across different types of multimedia projects. You should be able to manage a project from initial concept through filming, design, editing, revision, and final delivery while maintaining quality and consistency.
