Job summary

Global Wave Group is seeking a Data Analyst in Albany, Auckland (office-based) to clean, transform, and organize data from multiple sources and support data validation and QA processes. You will build dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau and perform basic statistical analysis to uncover trends for stakeholders.

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related fields, be proficient in Excel with SQL, and be familiar with Python/R/Power BI/Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related disciplines (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Proficient in Excel with a solid foundation in SQL.
• Familiar with data tools such as Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in both English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Clean, transform, and organize data from multiple sources.
• Support data validation, quality assurance, and error-checking processes.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Conduct basic statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Assist in preparing data-driven insights and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and ad-hoc data requests.
