Job summary

Talent is seeking an intermediate Cyber Security Advisor to support the ongoing certification and assurance of existing information systems. The role focuses on maintenance, auditing, and re-certifying established systems.

You will review security documentation, identify gaps, gather evidence with stakeholders, and ensure systems meet NZISM standards. Independent work within established frameworks is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security advisory, assurance, risk or compliance.
• Strong understanding of NZISM Certification and Accreditation in NZ government.
• Proven experience conducting security risk assessments and recommending controls.
• Experience developing Control Validation Plans and audits.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
