KPMG New Zealand is seeking a dynamic cyber security consultant to join KPMG Cyber, bringing broad experience across the discipline. You will manage client engagements, identifying and managing cyber risks across a variety of organisations and sectors.

Day to day you'll plan and deliver advisory engagements, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to proposals, and uphold the firm's reputation with high-quality, practical work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cyber security consulting experience.
• Broad practical experience across security architecture, risk management, governance, strategy, incident management, and vulnerability management.
• Strong understanding of NZ public sector cyber security expectations.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Relevant tertiary qualification and professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver cyber security advisory and assurance engagements across multiple domains.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with specialists.
• Participate in client proposals and grow team capabilities.
• Uphold KPMG’s reputation through high-quality, expert, and practical work.
• Maintain high attention to detail while delivering across multiple projects.
