Job summary

bp Connect Wanaka is seeking a casual Customer Service Representative to support day-to-day store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will engage with customers, prepare drinks, handle tills, and keep the store clean and organized.

The role emphasizes flexibility for weekend work, shift patterns, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Training and staff discounts are part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the point of sale and answer inquiries.

We are excited to share that we are looking for a Casualretail stars to join our team!

Available Shift:

Sunday to Thursday 05:30am to 2:00pm.

Tuesday to Saturday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Shifts and days of work may change over time - so we are looking for candidates with wide availability and flexibility to work different shift patterns including weekends.

Please ensure you provide your full availability when applying for this position - so we have the best chance of finding suitable shifts for you. Additional loading of over $4 per hour for working in one of our remote stores!

• Effective communication skills with a competency in English (reading, writing and speaking)
• Friendly, energetic and approachable with a natural flair for great customer service
• An ability to undertake cleaning activities, replenish and move stock and serve customers at the point of sale
• Confidence to execute in-store promotions
• Attention to detail, the ability to work in accordance with safe work practices and operational procedures, as well as a level-head to carry out emergency activities if required
• A real team player who is keen to wear our brand with pride
• Eligibility to work in NZ
