Job summary

AA New Zealand in Hamilton is seeking a Customer Sales Consultant for a 12-month fixed-term role at our Rototuna Centre, working 37 hours per week. You’ll be the face of AA, bringing energy and a customer-first approach to every interaction.

You’ll engage with customers, promote the right AA products, drive sales, and handle driver licensing and vehicle registration transactions. A high-energy, team-oriented attitude is essential, with bilingual skills a plus.

• Proven retail and sales experience and ability to hit targets.
• Strong customer-service orientation and energetic demeanour.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage with customers.

We currently have a 12 month fixed term Customer Sales Consultant position, at our AA Centre in Rototuna, working 37 hours per week.

Rostered hours will be: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:50am to 2:20pm

What You’ll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

As the face of the AA in our Rototuna Centre , you’ll bring a bubbly personality and customer-first approach to every interaction.

As a Customer Sales Consultant, you’ll:

• Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and promote the right AA products and services
• Drive sales and achieve KPIs while delivering exceptional service
• Create a positive, lively experience for every customer who walks through our doors
• Handle a variety of tasks, including processing driver licensing and vehicle registration transactions

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has proven retail and sales experience, with confidence in achieving targets
• Brings a high-energy, positive, and bubbly personality to work every day
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and learns quickly
• Is a natural team player who lifts the energy of those around them
• Enjoys connecting with people and making every interaction memorable
• A second language (e.g., Mandarin or other) would be preferred but not essential
