Job summary

New Zealand Couriers, part of the Freightways Group, is seeking a motivated Courier Contractor (owner driver) to take on an established run in Lower Hutt. You can operate your own business with the backing of a trusted national brand.

With steady freight volumes and an existing customer base, this role offers the opportunity to build strong earnings through great service and efficiency. You’ll need a late-model van and to pass vetting.

Qualifications

• A suitable late-model van (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to pass a criminal history, police vetting and credit check.
• Must be domiciled in New Zealand with the appropriate working rights.
• Self-motivated with reliable time management and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and delivering parcels on a designated daily run.
• Providing professional, friendly customer service.
• Managing time and workload to meet delivery targets.
• Scanning and tracking freight accurately.
