• Experience in a commercial kitchen or cafe
• Excellent cooking and baking skills
• Excellent food hygiene practices and commitment to safe working practices
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure with good time management
• Empathy towards older adults and good interpersonal skills
• Honesty, reliability and integrity
• Current NZ Food Safety Certificate

• Provide high-quality, nutritious meals meeting residents' individual nutrition needs
• Ensure smooth and efficient running of the kitchen service
• Maintain compliance with the Food Control Plan
• Collaborate with kitchen team to deliver first-class meals
