Reporting to the Commercial & Finance Manager, the Contracts Manager will oversee the commercial and contractual upstream aspects of the Northland Corridor project. This role will manage the implementation and administration of contractual procedures, working closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure obligations and goals are met at both project and company level. You'll engage directly with prime contractors, the supply chain and key stakeholders to protect project outcomes and manage commercial risk across a nationally significant infrastructure build.
Manage contract and supply chain risk in line with commercial policy
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and supply partners
Prepare tender documents, evaluate proposals and negotiate terms
Apply value-for-money thinking across procurement and project delivery
Identify probity risks and keep ethical considerations central to decisions
Produce accurate monthly reports on project commercial performance
Support compliance with legal, financial and regulatory requirements
Bachelor's degree in law, commerce, construction, engineering or finance
Experience managing commercial and contractual functions on major projects
Strong grasp of procurement models and contract law
Skilled negotiator with sound financial literacy
Confident communicator across internal and external stakeholder groups
