Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Hutt Valley at Hutt Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Continence to lead the service, maximise patient self-management, independence and quality of life, and minimise complications from incontinence.

The CNS will develop service pathways, protocols and guidelines in line with national standards, and provide continence care in inpatient, outpatient, and home settings, supporting families/whanau.

Qualifikationen

• You will be a Registered Nurse with a Post Graduate qualification relevant to the role or be working towards this.
• You will have 4-5 years post-registration experience in Community Nursing, Geriatrics, Disability or General Nursing.
• Previous Urology related experience would be an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Lead the continence service, develop standards of care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Research, develop, implement, and evaluate service pathways, protocols and guidelines.
• Provide continence services in home or appropriate community settings and collaborate with families/whanau.
