As a Radiologist at Nelson Hospital,you will be an integral part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, deliveringhigh-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across the NelsonMarlborough region. The role encompasses a broad range of modalities, includingGeneral radiology, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI with angiography and interventionalradiology - if required.
Nelson Marlborough provides radiologyservices across Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, supporting a population ofapproximately 150,000 people. The department is invested in having the latestequipment and technology, as well as fit for purpose facilities, including twoCT scanners, 1.5T MRI, modern ultrasound and fluoroscopy units, and fullydigital PACS and RIS systems. Theservice is highly collegial, with close collaboration between Radiologists,Medical Imaging Technologists, and other healthcare professionals. Thedepartment plays a key role in both acute and elective care, providing imagingsupport for surgical, medical, and oncology services.
