Job summary

Extrastaff is recruiting Construction Specialists for full-time, permanent roles across New Zealand. You will read drawings, assemble framing and finishes, install doors/windows, and support concrete work on major infrastructure projects.

Roles require 2 years in construction or a Level 4 qualification, with a NZ driver license. PPE and tools are provided; travel across project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years' construction experience or Level 4 qualification.
• NZ driver license or international equivalent.
• Able to work independently and adapt to site environments.
• Experience on commercial, infrastructure, or civil projects preferred.
• Sound knowledge of H&S procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Construct, install and repair framing, cladding, finishes and foundations.
• Fit doors, windows, insulation, linings and finishing elements.
• Form concrete and wood structures; assist in pouring concrete as required.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and access equipment per safety standards.
