About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Operator/Class 5 Operator to join our team based in Dunedin. This role involves transporting goods across various locations in a safe and timely manner, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods to designated locations following all local driving regulations.
• Transportation of Plant.
• Verify delivery instructions and ensure accurate logging of deliveries.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with the logistics team to optimise route efficiency.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance or repair needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a full New Zealand driving licence Class 5
• Previous experience in a construction driving role, preferably with bulk cartage of aggregate.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good geographical knowledge of Dunedin and surrounding areas.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle checks.
