Responsive Health Management Inc. in Wellington, NZ is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper. The role reports to the Environmental Services Manager and focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards while engaging residents in daily activities. Starting wage is $17.86 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing rooms for new occupants, while ensuring resident privacy and dignity in a warm setting. Health checks and vaccines may be required.

Qualifications

• Some understanding of chemicals and equipment used in cleaning.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work from the heart and make others smile.
• Ability to provide positive social interactions with residents.
• Willingness to obtain required health and safety checks.

Responsabilités

• Receives assignment, assembles required materials and supplies, loads service cart and transports to work area.
• Performs cleaning tasks using specified agents and routines to clean floors, walls, furniture and fixtures.
• Ensures resident privacy during duties and promotes dignity in a warm setting.
• Notifies Manager when supplies are low or equipment is malfunctioning.
• Prepares rooms for new occupants and maintains organization of storage areas.
• Identifies potential liability issues and minimizes risk.
• Other duties as assigned.
