Job summary

Metlifecare in Kerikeri, Northland, is seeking a Domestic Aid (Cleaner) to join Oakridge Villas. The role is permanent part-time, 22 hours per week across four days (Mon 09:00–15:30, Tue 09:00–13:00, Thu 09:00–15:30, Fri 09:00–15:30). Extra shifts may be available.

You will deliver high-standard cleaning within the care home, supporting residents and the clinical team while following health guidelines and maintaining dignity for residents' belongings.

Qualifications

• Good level of fitness.
• Previous cleaning experience is highly beneficial.
• Empathy for the elderly and a love of making a difference in residents' lives.
• Bright, breezy "can do" attitude and a team focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional cleaning support to our residents including processing Laundry.
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
• Ensuring residents belongings are treated with respect.
• Ensuring all health guidelines are followed.
