Job summary

Summerset in Waikanae Village is seeking a caring Part-Time Caregiver to join a team dedicated to creating the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. The role focuses on personal care and assisting residents with daily activities.

You will work a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts, with 4 days on and 2 days off. Prior aged care experience is preferred, and weekend penal rates may apply.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, kind and patient approach to care.
• Strong verbal communication and relationship-building ability.
• Willingness to work a rotational roster including mornings, afternoons and nights.
• Commitment to a 4-on-2-off work pattern.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and assist with mealtimes.
• Assist with personal hygiene and showers.
• Support with individual care plans, e.g., walks and exercises.
• Help residents with activities such as puzzles and table tennis.
