Job summary

Auckland Council is seeking a Community Wellbeing Specialist Advisor to operate across the Central and East portfolio, servicing Puketāpapa and surrounding communities. The role supports community-led development with flexible start/finish times and a hybrid home/office setup.

You will lead complex projects, provide strategic advice to elected members, and build strong partnerships with diverse communities while travelling to engagement sites as needed. A NZ driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in community development and capacity building.
• Knowledge of community-led delivery models.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work with diverse communities.
