Job summary

L&J Pacific Limited in Bay of Plenty is looking for two attentive cleaners to join our team as Commercial cleaners. The role involves dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning windows, and removing stains from various surfaces.

You will work 30 hours or more per week, with shifts from Monday to Sunday. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to work with minimal supervision, have at least 6 months cleaning experience, own transport, and NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Qualifications

• 6 months relevant working experience
• Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
• Stamina, strength, and mobility for long hours on your feet.
• Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
• Available to work mornings and evenings, plus weekends, as needed.
• Clean police record (vetting will be required), pre-employment drug testing
• Own transport and full driver licence to travel between Tauranga and Rotorua
• Excellent time management and absolute honesty
• Spot the small things and leave spaces spotless.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa

Responsibilities

• Dust surfaces, vacuum and mop floors, and clean windows.
• Remove stains from various surfaces.
• Empty waste bins and replace liners; wash when needed.
• Dust all horizontal surfaces of chairs, tables, desks, and furniture.
• Wipe all internal glass and polish brass/bright work on cabinets and doors.
• Clean bathrooms, replace linens and restock supplies.
• Notify relevant personnel of maintenance concerns or damages.

We are looking to hire 2 attentive cleaners to join our team. In this position, you will be required to dust surfaces, vacuum and mop floors, and clean windows. The cleaner should also be able to remove stains from various surfaces.

To be successful as a cleaner, you should be able to complete assigned tasks within the stipulated period. Ultimately, a top-performing cleaner should be physically fit and able to perform with minimal supervision.

Cleaner Responsibilities:

• Empty waste bins and replace liners. Wash when needed.
• Vacuum hard floors
• Vacuum mats and carpets
• Wipe all horizontal surfaces with a damp cloth of chairs, tables, desks, and other types of furniture
• Dust all horizontal surfaces of chairs, tables, desks, and other types of furniture
• Mop hard floors using disinfectants
• Remove cobwebs from all areas
• Collect all garbage, bottles, papers, etc. from the front entrance
• Ensure all areas are cleaned and arranged neatly
• Spot clean painted surfaces and walls
• Remove fingerprints and marks from door frames and light switches
• Wipe all internal glass
• Polish brass and bright work on cabinets and doors
• Clean automatic glass doors inside and out
• Prepares beds and replaces bed linens to ensure guest comfort
• Replenishes mini bars and restocks bathroom supplies to maintain availability for guests
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms, and removes used towels or linens for washing
• Notifies the relevant personnel of any maintenance concerns or damages

Cleaner Requirements:

• Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.

• Have own reliable transport and full driver licence as you need to travel between Tauranga and Rotorua
