Qualifications

• Evidence of leadership experience with ability to inspire and develop others.
• Deep understanding of current effective pedagogy and the refreshed NZ Curriculum.
• Experience implementing BSLA and Maths No Problem practices.
• Commitment to Te Reo Māori, tikanga Māori and culturally responsive practice.
• Experience supporting a diverse population of English Language Learners (ELLs).
• Builds positive, respectful relationships with students, staff, whānau and community.
• Reflective, future-focused and committed to ongoing professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead a collaborative team of educators to raise learning outcomes.
• Foster a culture of high expectations, continual improvement and positive relationships.
• Support teacher capability through mentoring and professional learning.
• Contribute to school-wide improvement initiatives and leadership development.
