Job summary

Moffat is seeking CNC Press Brake / Turret Operators for the Rolleston site on a second shift. Immediate start with nights, Monday to Friday 5.15pm - 1.15am in the press shop.

Role involves setting up and operating press brakes or turrets on high-tech CNC equipment, forming/bending material per work orders, while meeting quality and delivery targets. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $29.00–$31.00 with a generous Night Shift Allowance and potential health insurance after six months.

Qualifications

• Experience with Press Brake and/or Turret in sheet metal.
• Ability to form, bend or straighten material per work order.
• Commitment to quality, quantity and on-time delivery in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Set up and/or operate a Turret or Press Brake to form, bend or straighten material as specified.
• Ensure product meets quality, quantity and delivery requirements.
• Work safely to maximize productivity in the press shop.
• Collaborate with team for efficient production and problem solving.

We'll pay you $29.00 - $31.00 an hour (depending on experience), plus a generous Night Shift Allowance for Monday - Friday 5.15pm - 1.15am in our Press Shop.

We are looking for a person with Press Brake and/or Turret experience in sheet metal, and an interest in working with high tech CNC equipment. You'll be responsible for setting up and/or operating a Turret or Press Brake machine to form, bend or straighten material as specified by work order and internal customer needs. You'll also be responsible for satisfying customer requirements of quality, quantity and delivery on time, in a safe manner while maximizing productivity.

This is a full time permanent position.
