Job summary

OneStaff is seeking an experienced CNC machine operator for multiple roles across Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty to support various projects. You will be responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines to deliver precise production outcomes.

The position is permanent and full-time with a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed. Applicants must be a NZCitizen/Resident or hold a valid NZ work visa. Salary ranges from $29.66 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2.5 years of relevant CNC machine operator experience.
• Friendly, with good time management, and excellent work ethic.
• Flexible to work in various locations across the country.
• Commitment to health and safety practices on-site.
• NZ citizen or resident or valid NZ work visa.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints or drawings to determine specifications.
• Setting up the machine and translating instructions into commands.
• Installing tools and attachments.
• Measuring and verifying dimensions.
• Loading raw materials onto the machine.
• Operating CNC machines for drilling, grinding, and milling.
• Conducting run-tests and ensuring correct specifications.
• Maintaining machinery and safety on-site.
• Documenting machine actions and keeping logs.
• Maintaining a clean workspace and health and safety compliance.
