Job summary

Hawke's Bay Regional Prison is seeking a Clinical Team Leader Health to lead the nursing team, provide day-to-day coaching, and ensure culturally safe practice in partnership with Maori health principles.

You will work with the Health Centre Manager, oversee rostering, clinical reporting, and liaise with external providers, with on-call duties.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current Nursing Council APC
  • Advanced nursing knowledge with leadership experience
  • Cultural competence with Te Tiriti o Waitangi knowledge
  • Empathetic communication and relationship management
  • Strong report writing and analytical/problem-solving skills

Your ability to exercise professional judgment and assist the team with complex case resolution will be invaluable, and you'll be a first port of call to support and assist the men in our management with any concerns, or potential complaints, as they arise. In addition to managing team rostering and clinical reporting, you'll also have regular opportunities to liaise and work with external providers on health-related referral requests and processing.
