Fisher & Paykel Healthcare invites applications for a Clinical Research Associate to support its Infant Care Division. You will contribute to world-class product development and clinical research that improves outcomes for neonatal patients.

The role includes supporting a clinical affairs portfolio within our neonatal respiratory team, gaining exposure to a broad range of skills and experiences that will distinguish your career.

Qualifications

  • Qualification in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Strong medical writing and science communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of clinical research methodologies.
  • Experience with literature searches and evidence synthesis.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Adaptability and self-motivation to succeed in a regulated environment.
  • Passion for helping improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct systematic literature reviews and synthesize clinical evidence.
  • Analyse and interpret clinical data, preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Support clinical research activities and contribute to design, planning, and execution of studies.
  • Review, summarise, and present clinical literature to product development, marketing, and sales; support education.
  • Contribute to development and ongoing support of the product portfolio.

About the opportunity
  • conduct systematic literature reviews and synthesize clinical evidence
  • analysingand interpretingclinical data, preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • support clinical research activities and contribute to the design, planning, and execution of clinical studies.
  • reviewing, summarising, and presenting clinical literature to product development, marketing, andsales as well assupportinggeneral education
  • contributing to the development and ongoing support of product portfolio
About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • qualification in a relevant scientific discipline
  • strong medical writing and science communication skills
  • solid understanding of clinical research methodologies
  • experience with literature searches and evidence synthesis
  • sound knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • adaptability and self-motivation to succeed in a regulatedenvironment
  • a passion for helping improve the outcomes of patients.

Previouswork experience and post-graduate study would beadvantageous, as would experience in conducting literature reviews, supporting regulatory compliance, and being aware of clinical trial conduct, including Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP).
