Job summary

Tū Ora Compass Health in Wellington seeks an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead and coordinate our Psychology Intern Hub on a part-time basis (16 hours/week). You will provide regular supervision, shape interns' development and progression toward registration, and create a nourishing learning environment for future psychologists.

You'll collaborate with clinical leaders and supervisors, promote equity and culturally safe practice, and contribute to workforce development initiatives within

Qualifications

• Registration as a Psychologist with a current Annual Practising Certificate
• Approved supervisor status with the NZ Psychology Board, or eligibility to obtain this
• At least five years' experience in a senior psychology role, including supervision and people leadership
• Experience supervising psychology interns or early-career psychologists
• Strong knowledge of psychological theory, evidence-based practice and a range of therapy models
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to culturally responsive and safe practice
• A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity in health.

Responsibilities

• Providing regular, structured clinical supervision to psychology interns
• Interns' professional development, reflective practice and progress towards registration competencies
• Coordinating meaningful and varied clinical learning opportunities
• Creating a positive, engaging and high-quality learning environment
• Working collaboratively with clinical leaders, service leads and other supervisors
• Bringing interns together through shared learning, peer support and case discussions
• Contributing to workforce development and psychology training initiatives
• Championing clinical excellence, equity and culturally responsive practice.
