Job summary

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is seeking a Clinical Educator/Registered Nurse for a fixed-term 0.8FTE role at the North Campus. The successful candidate will contribute to nursing education and clinical learning across programmes, with an emphasis on Te Tiriti, cultural humility and student-centred teaching.

Required qualifications include a PG certificate in nursing, a current NCNZ practising certificate, and NZ clinical experience. The appointment runs March–Dec 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a PG certificate in a qualification relating to Nursing.
• Current NCNZ practising certificate and NZ clinical experience.
• Ability to contribute to clinical learning within nursing programmes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical education in the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes.
• Develop and optimise clinical teaching with students and staff.
• Support ongoing professional development through AUT staff programmes.
