Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Consultant to join the Upper Extremities team in Auckland, New Zealand. You will be the go-to expert during complex upper-extremities surgeries, providing technical and clinical support to surgeons and hospital staff.

The role includes in-theatre support, training hospital staff, and ongoing clinical planning. We value candidates with 1–2+ years in healthcare, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and a full, unrestricted driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2+ years in a healthcare, clinical or patient-facing role.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Allied Health/medical discipline.
• Full, unrestricted Australian driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to expert during complex Upper Extremities surgeries with technical and clinical support.
• Provide clinical in theatre support for Stryker products.
• Deliver training and support to hospital staff using Stryker products.
• Handle day-to-day planning and administration for clinical support.

About the Role

• You’ll be the go-to expert during complex Upper Extremities surgeries, providing both technical and clinical expertise to surgeons and hospital staff.
• Provide clinical in theatre support for Stryker products
• Provide training and support for hospital staff in their use of Stryker products
• Day to day and ongoing planning and administration associated with clinical support for Stryker products

We’ll provide you with thorough training to ensure you’re fully equipped to support surgical teams and deliver exceptional results.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor's degree in Allied Health, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Medical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Podiatry or a related discipline
• 1-2+ years of experience in a healthcare, clinical or patient-facing role
• Full, unrestricted Australian driver's license

Highly Regarded But Not Essential

• Experience in operating theatres or supporting surgical environments
• Exposure to medical devices, healthcare technology or anatomy-focused roles
• Confidence engaging with clinicians and delivering training or education
