A community-focused support organization in Palmerston North seeks a part-time cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for residents. Like any family home, at Enliven’s Brightwater Home there are great shared social spaces, including lounges, gardens and courtyards. Residents and their families use these spaces whenever they like, to socialise, do activities and host visitors.
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring our Home provides a safe, clean and hygienic environment where our residents can feel comfortable in all areas of the home and enjoy their environment. This is a Part Time role working a 22 hours per week, 8.00am to 14.00pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect. Previous experience of working in a rest home or hospital environment is a plus, but it's not essential, as we can help you learn what you need to know.
