Tūora Fendalton School in Canterbury is seeking two permanent, NZ-registered teachers for 2027 start. You will join dedicated colleagues in collaborative teams at a beautiful school site as we near the completion of our rebuild programme.
We value teachers who build quality relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues, and who can contribute to literacy, numeracy and inquiry across the new curriculum changes anticipated in coming years.
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

We have two permanent positions starting 2027. These positions will be for NZ-registered teachers who are current in their practice and are excited by the opportunities to work with dedicated colleagues in collaborative teams in a beautiful school setting as we are just 18 months from completing our rebuild programme.
We will be considering teachers with qualities and characteristics that complement teams and bring new energy and inspiration. Quality relationships are an essential component to teaching at Tūora Fendalton School, and so we are seeking those who can establish positive relationships with our tamariki, whānau and colleagues.
We will also be looking for sound literacy (including structured literacy experience), numeracy and inquiry skills as well as an eagerness to engage with the changing curriculum documents being introduced to schools over the next few years.
