Job summary

ALH Wellington – Wellington Central, North Island is seeking experienced Class 5 drivers for a busy transport operation in Wellington. This full-time, ongoing role offers approx 40/50 hours per week with potential to go permanent for the right person.

Starts 6PM Monday to Friday; flexible hours may be available for other Class 5 roles. Join a well-established transport company with regular swap runs to Palmerston North and longer trips across New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Full, clean Class 5 licence.
• Dangerous goods ticket.
• Previous Class 5 and linehaul experience.
• Comfortable with regular swap runs and longer-distance trips.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong understanding of health and safety.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and MOJ check.

Responsibilities

• Class 5 linehaul driving.
• Regular swap runs to Palmerston North and/or Turangi as well as longer trips across New Zealand.
• Full-time hours with consistent work available.
• Temp to perm opportunity.
• Working with a well-established transport company.
