Job summary

Allied Concrete Christchurch Plant is seeking an experienced Class 4 driver to deliver ready-mix concrete across the Canterbury region. This full-time role includes early starts, 5am–6pm, Monday to Saturday, with a friendly team focused on safety, reliability and customer service.

You will load, unload and deliver concrete from plants to customer sites, keep the truck clean and well-maintained, and follow health, safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clean current Class 4 drivers license.
• Committed to Health & Safety standards.
• Flexible in working hours.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Physically fit and considers appearance important.
• Willing to comply with drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, random, post-incident).

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver concrete from plants to customers' sites.
• Ensure tasks meet safety, quality and company policies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operate in a safe, professional manner.

Are you an experienced Class 4 driver who takes pride in safe and reliable service? We're looking for someone like you to join our team at our Allied Concrete Christchurch Plant.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time role delivering ready-mix concrete throughout the Canterbury region. You'll be part of a friendly crew that works together to get the job done right, safely, efficiently and with great customer service. Your working hours will be 5am - 6pm, Monday to Saturday, and earlier starts may be required.

Your Key Responsbilities Will Be

• Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard and in accordance with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.


• Timely and efficient loading, unloading and delivery of concrete from plants to customers' sites.


• Maintain customer satisfaction and appropriately represent Allied Concrete by keeping truck clean and in good working condition.
