Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience driving heavy rigid vehicles (18,000kg+).
• Experience driving curtain sider is essential.
• Solid knowledge of NZ Road Code and Heavy Vehicle Loading Code.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting freight efficiently across Auckland.
• Ensuring loads are secured and compliant with NZTA regulations.
• Completing daily pre-start and post-trip checks; using driver apps.
• Maintaining a clean, roadworthy vehicle and accurate paperwork.
• Reporting damages or issues promptly; supporting the dispatch team.

ROLE

We are currently looking for a Class 4 curtain-sider truck driver (Dayshift), with good knowledge of the Auckland region, and Metro experience.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of LCL freight across Auckland, ensuring all goods are handled with care and delivered damage-free. Safety, compliance, and professionalism are key in this role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering and collecting freight efficiently across Auckland
• Ensuring loads are correctly secured and compliant with NZTA regulations
• Completing daily pre-start and post-trip vehicle checks
• Maintaining your truck in clean, roadworthy condition
• Accurately completing delivery paperwork and using driver apps (e.g. Allotrac)
• Reporting any damages, faults, or issues promptly
• Working closely with dispatch and supporting the wider team when needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience driving heavy rigid vehicles (18,000kg+)
• Previous experience driving curtain sider - Essential
• Full Class 4 licence (current)
• Solid knowledge of the NZ Road Code and Heavy Vehicle Loading Code
• Experience with LCL freight (preferred)
• Good knowledge of Auckland metro routes
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Comfortable using mobile apps and completing digital paperwork
• A safety-first mindset with high attention to detail
