Job summary

Programmed GO in Whangārei is seeking a reliable Class 2 Courier Driver to join our busy freight and logistics operation. You will deliver and collect parcels across Whangārei and surrounding areas, load and unload freight, and provide friendly customer service.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, roughly 45 hours per week, with early start times. A current NZ Class 2 licence, clean driving record and ability to pass drug and alcohol screening are required.

Qualifications

• A current and clean NZ Class 2 Driver Licence.
• Previous courier, delivery, transport or logistics experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Whangārei and surrounding areas.
• A clean and reliable driving record.
• A clean criminal record.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting parcels throughout Whangārei and surrounding areas.
• Loading and unloading freight safely.
• Handling parcels weighing up to approximately 30 kg.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Completing delivery documentation and using relevant systems.
• Ensuring all parcels are handled safely and securely.
• Maintaining vehicle safety and presentation.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Managing delivery schedules and completing runs efficiently.
