Job summary

AWF New Zealand is seeking skilled Class 2-5 Truck Drivers to support busy civil and logistics crews in the Whangarei area. You’ll be confident behind the wheel and value safety and quality, working with teams that pride themselves on reliability.

In this role you will operate trucks on civil construction and logistics sites, support ground crews, and handle loading, transport and deliveries. A strong safety mindset and good teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant licences - Class 2-5 Full.
• WTR endorsement with experience is an advantage.
• DG endorsement, F endorsement + OSH Forklift certificate an advantage.
• Previous civil construction or transport industry experience with references.
• Strong safety awareness and reliable work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks across civil construction and logistics sites.

• Complete pre-starts, safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Assist with general labouring when required.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating trucks across civil construction and logistics sites
• Supporting ground crews with daily operations
• Loading, transporting and delivering products and materials
• Completing pre-starts, safety checks and basic maintenance
• Assisting with general labouring when required

What You Need:

• Relevant licences - Class 2-5 Full
• WTR endorsement with experience an advantage
• DG endorsement, F endorsement + OSH Forklift certificate an advantage
• Previous experience in civil construction or the transport industry with references to support your application
• Strong safety awareness and a reliable work ethic
• Good communication skills and teamwork focus
• To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
